Martim is looking for: A Room in Rotterdam

Hi! My name is Martim, I’m 22 years old and I’m from Cascais, a beautiful coastal town near Lisbon that is famous for its beaches and surfing.

I’ll be starting my ICT degree at Fontys University this September, and I’m looking for a place where I can feel at home during my studies. I have already lived and worked in the Netherlands, so I already have my BSN and I’m familiar with Dutch life and responsibilities.

I would describe myself as a calm, friendly and respectful person. I’m clean, organised and reliable, and I always respect other people’s privacy and shared spaces. I enjoy having a good chat with my housemates, but I also appreciate a quiet environment for studying.

In my free time, I love surfing, music, gaming and spending time outdoors. I’m also a big animal lover, and I’ll really miss my family’s Rhodesian Ridgeback, Zuri, while I’m away.

My parents, who are both lawyers, will act as my guarantors, so rent payments will always be secure and on time. My father is a partner at one of Lisbon's and international leading law firms and we are happy to provide proof of our incomeand any financial documentation you may require. 

I’m looking for a long-term home where I can focus on my studies, get to know new people and be a considerate and dependable housemate. I also have hmy own personal savings, 

If preferred, we are also able to pay several months’ rent in advance, or even the full 12-month rent upfront and we are willing to travel to Netherlands to meet in person and sign the tenancy agreement if required
